Norwegian PM arrives in New Delhi

Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg has arrived in New Delhi on a three-day state visit to India. She was accompanied by senior officials from her government and a large business delegation. She will participate in the Indo-Norwegian Business Conference.

NCR launches mobile app to help people navigate through Prayagraj city during Kumbh Mela

The North Central Railway, NCR has launched a mobile application to help people navigate through Prayagraj city during Kumbh Mela starting from January 15. The 'Rail Kumbh Seva Mobile App' will also provide information regarding all the 'Mela special' trains that will be run during the period.

  • Additionally, the app will provide a link to the user to buy both unreserved and reserved train tickets.

Total value of BHIM UPI transactions crosses Rs 1 Lakh cr mark in December 2018

The total value of BHIM-UPI transactions crossed 1 Lakh Crore Rupees mark in December 2018. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad informed via tweet that the app-based payments touched 1 lakh, two thousand five hundred and ninety-four crore rupees mark in December last year.

India scripted history after winning their first-ever Test series in Australia as the fourth Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) concluded in a draw.

16-year-old Rohit Danu becomes I-League’s youngest ever goal scorer

Rohit Danu, Indian Arrows’ 16-year-old footballer, became the youngest goal-scorer in the I-League. Danu, aged 16 years, five months and 27 days, beat the previous record of Arrows’ Jitendra, who was of 16 years, six months and 13 days when he scored against Shillong Lajong on December 26, 2017.
