Over 30 lakh persons enrolled under PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Scheme till July 10 Union Government said that total 30 lakh 85 thousand 205 persons have been enrolled under Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Scheme, PM-SYM, till 10th of this month.
  • The scheme assures the minimum monthly pension of three thousand rupees to the beneficiaries after attaining the age of 60 years.

  • Also, Rahul Awaare in 61 Kg, Seema Bisla in 50 Kg and Manju Kumari in 59 Kg categories clinched the yellow metal.

Kalraj Mishra appointed Himachal Pradesh Governor President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Kalraj Mishra as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
  • Acharya Devvrat has been transferred from Himachal Pradesh and appointed Governor of Gujarat.
Chandrakant Kavlekar to be the new Deputy CM of Goa Chandrakant Kavlekar to be the new Deputy Chief Minister of Goa. He will replace Vijai Sardesai as the deputy chief minister of Goa.

World Youth Skills Day The United Nations, at its General Assembly in November 2014, declared 15 July as World Youth Skills Day. The aim of World Youth Skills Day is to encourage youth to celebrate the value of acquiring skills like building, making, and creating as a way to achieve personal success and fulfillment.
  • The theme for the 2019 World Youth Skills day is “Learning to learn for life and work”.
